I took this photograph of Penmon Point in August 2021 at sunset. It wasn't the most dramatic of sunsets but the lighting was perfect to capture that classic seaside mood, to give the viewer that feeling of being beside the sea. I chose the coastline to lead the eye over to Trwyn Du Lighthouse, which highlights the interaction of the water with the pebbled beach and then leads the onto the wonderful bright green seaweed and the craggy shoreline before reaching the lighthouse. I believe this composition of Penmon really captures the beauty and tranquility of this wonderful place.
