Photographed on a bitterly cold January day of 2019 from the banks of Llyn Llydaw within the Snowdon Horseshoe. It was actually a great day for walking as long as you didn’t stop for too long. We had made the ascent along the Miners track with the idea of making the descent on the Pyg Track but as we approached Llyn Llydaw my eyes kept being drawn to how the light was catching and drifting across Snowdon and Crib Goch creating fantastic shadows. So, I detoured from the track and found a small rise above the lake and fired off a few shots and this is one of several finished captures of the day!
